My broken Toe

When we were staying at Bryan's sister's house I had fallen down her stairs twice in one day. They were so steep and it was dark. The first time I missed the last step and clumsily stood my ground. The next time I wasn't so lucky. I missed the last step again and landed hard on the marble ground. I was shocked that I feel again. My wrist and toe hurt, but shook it off and didn't think anything of it. We left to go home on Saturday and when we got home I took my sock off and it was so swollen and black and blue. I knew just by looking at it, it was broken. I told Bryan that I wanted to go to the ER the following day. I had also been suffering from a bad case of the sore throat too. My uvula was so swollen and it was laying on my tongue. I had wanted to go in to get that checked out too. The next morning I get dropped off at the ER and what to do you know my big toe is broken and it's broken right where it bends. Bad spot to have a brake. And I have an infected uvula. I am put on antibiotics and some strong pain meds. The doctor also put me in a boot. I am to wear it for two weeks for it to heal. He also wanted me to go see a bone doctor. Which I'm not it's just a toe. I'm doing well, it doesn't hurt unless I am without the boot. The swelling has gone down and it's a little black and blue still. I was lucky I could have broken my wrist or something much bigger.
